GTA RP is a game on a server where players live in a shared city. They drive cars, buy houses, earn money and meet other people. Usually this takes GTA itself, a special client and a powerful computer.
For a student that is three walls at once. You have to buy the game. You have to download it, and it is huge. And not every laptop can run it.
Catalina RP removes all three. It is a free online game in the style of GTA San Andreas that opens in a regular browser tab. You press "Play", pick a nickname and a password, and you are in the city with other players.
This is not GTA, and we say so plainly
Catalina RP is not a mod and not a server for GTA. It is a separate game built from scratch specifically for the browser. Its own engine, its own city, its own car models, character skins and weapon models.
That is why there is no Los Santos map and no GTA characters here. But you get what people go to RP servers for: a shared world, real players around you, text and voice chat, cars, houses and money.
If you want GTA itself, this game will not replace it. If you want a similar life in a city with no purchases and no installs, this is for you.

Buying GTA
This is a game of its own, so you do not need to buy GTA or pay for server access. It is free to play.

The account is created on the spot: pick a nickname and a password. Your progress is saved under your nickname.
GTA RP for a low-end PC
The game is built for the browser and designed for ordinary and low-end computers, including school laptops. You do not need a gaming PC.
What you need: a computer or laptop with a keyboard and mouse and one of these browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Yandex Browser.
If the game runs slowly, close extra tabs and programs. That leaves the browser enough power for the game.
There is no phone version yet. We say so honestly so you do not waste your time.

Cars and drifting
Original car models, handbrake, nitro and a drift park. More: online drifting in the browser.

You can buy a house with coins and walk inside. There are villas with a pool. More: a game where you can buy a house.
Gunfights and zombies
From the Desert Eagle to a sniper rifle and a grenade launcher. Grenades, mines, armor. Zombies and other players.
Tuning and GAI
Rims, body and rim paint, plates. Cars are registered at the GAI traffic police office.
Market and shops
Weapons and armor at the market, cars at the dealership. All for coins you earn in the game.
Voice and friends
Text chat and voice chat on the K key. Players nearby can hear you.
How to start in 3 steps
No install and no email. The game opens in a regular browser tab on your computer. The game interface is currently in Russian.
Press "Play"
The game opens in your browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Yandex Browser.
Pick a nickname and a password
A new account is created on the spot, and everything you earn is saved under that nickname. The login screen is in Russian: type a nickname into "Ник", a password into "Пароль" and press "Войти в игру".
Hit the city
Find a car, earn coins and save up for your own house and tuning.

Is this GTA RP?
Catalina RP is a separate game, not a mod and not a server for GTA. It is made in the spirit of GTA San Andreas and RP servers: a shared city, cars, houses, money and real players. But the engine, models and mechanics are our own, and it all runs in the browser.
