Want to drift, but heavy racing games will not run on your weak computer? In Catalina RP the cars drive right in your browser. You open the page, pick a nickname, and a minute later you are in the city in your own car.
This is not a stand-alone race but a whole open city with other players. Drifting is part of life here: you can cruise through the city, or head to the drift park and practice there.
Our own drift physics
We built the driving and drifting ourselves. The controls are easy: the car follows the wheel and you hold the slide. Pull the handbrake, kick the car sideways and steer it through the corner.
Drifting earns points, and a clean drift pays coins. So drifting brings in money for a new car and tuning.
Nitro and fuel
Nitro bottles are sold at a separate auto shop. On the road you press Shift and the car speeds up. Fuel is used up too: fill up at gas stations, which also sell fuel cans.
Nitro gives a boost, but the bottles cost coins, so spend them wisely. To start with, you can do without them entirely.
Driving controls
F - get in and out of the car. Space - handbrake. Shift - nitro. R - radio. L - headlights. C - look back. There are hints in the game itself too. If you have never drifted, start on an empty road: build up speed, pull the handbrake and release it right away, then hold the slide with the throttle and the wheel.
Cars: original models
The game has several original models: a sedan, Evo, STI, M3, Mark II and Civic. They were made specially for this game and you will not find them anywhere else. You buy a car at the dealership with coins: you pick the model and the color.
Car tuning online
You can build the car your way. Four places in the city, each with its own job.
Rim painting
Rims have a separate workshop. Repaint them any color without touching the body.
Paint booth
You drive the car inside, painters walk up and paint it right before your eyes.
Plates at the GAI
Register the car at the GAI traffic police office. The plate can be random, your own, or a fancy one, for example with the digits 777.
How to earn money for a car and tuning
You earn coins in the game itself: for drifting, for zombies, from chests. And every few minutes a shower of coins drops in the city, and whoever gets there first takes it. Chests may also hold a jetpack, a shield and an invisibility cloak.

How to start in 3 steps
No install and no email. The game opens in a regular browser tab on your computer. The game interface is currently in Russian.
Press "Play"
The game opens in your browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Yandex Browser.
Pick a nickname and a password
A new account is created on the spot, and everything you earn is saved under that nickname. The login screen is in Russian: type a nickname into "Ник", a password into "Пароль" and press "Войти в игру".
Hit the city
Find a car, earn coins and save up for your own house and tuning.
Frequently asked questions
Is there online drifting with no download?
Yes. In Catalina RP the cars drive and drift right in your browser. There is nothing to install: press "Play" and pick a nickname and a password.
How do I earn coins by drifting?
Drifting earns you points, and a clean drift pays coins. There is a separate drift park for practice. You can spend coins on a car, rims, paint and nitro.
What cars are in the game?
