Personal Data Processing Policy
Catalina RP is a free online browser game. We do not ask for your email, phone number or real name. This page explains what data the game needs, why, how long we keep it and how to delete it.
Who processes the data
The personal data operator is sole proprietor Nikolai Viktorovich Smagin, OGRNIP 324310000037522, Stary Oskol, Belgorod Region, Russia. Email for data questions: info@tenday.ru.
This policy is based on Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27.07.2006 "On Personal Data" and applies to the website catalina-rp.ru and the game on it.
What we collect
- The nickname you chose when you signed in.
- Your password. We do not store the password itself, only its encrypted fingerprint. The password cannot be recovered from it.
- Game progress: coins, items and equipped gear, health, your position on the map, purchased houses, garage, cars and their tuning, GAI license plates, items in the safe.
- Your IP address. It is needed for the game to work and is recorded in the statistics (see below).
- When you entered the game and how long you played: login and logout times, duration, and whether the account is new.
We do not record or store chat messages or voice chat. They are passed straight to the players near you and are not saved anywhere.
Website visit statistics
When you open pages of the site and the game, your browser sends our server:
- your IP address and User-Agent, a string that shows your browser and operating system;
- a random visitor number and a visit number (more below; this is not a nickname or a name);
- which pages you opened: the address, the title and where you came from (the address of the site you followed a link from);
- how long the page was open on your screen;
- whether you pressed the "Play" button and whether you entered the game;
- your screen and browser window size, language and time zone;
- whether the screen has a touch sensor and whether the browser is controlled by a program. This is needed to tell people from bots.
All of this is tied to a random number, not to a name. If you entered the game, the server links the visitor number to the nickname you played under. That is how we see how many people got from the site to the game.
The counter is our own, on our server. There is no Yandex Metrica, Google Analytics or any other third-party service.
Why
- So you can sign in to your account and continue playing from the same place.
- So other players can see your nickname, your character and your car.
- To protect the game from account hacking and cheating.
- To see statistics: how many people visit the site and the game, where they come from, on which devices, and how long they play. We use this data to improve the site and the game.
We do not show ads and do not use the data for advertising.
Legal basis
When you press "Войти в игру" (Enter the game), you give your consent to personal data processing. The basis is clause 1, part 1, article 6 of Law 152-FZ.
The site starts collecting visit statistics as soon as you open a page, before any consent. We do it in our legitimate interests: so that the site and the game work, are protected from bots and become more convenient. This does not violate your rights: we do not know your name, email or phone number, there are no ads, and we do not pass the data to anyone. The basis is clause 7, part 1, article 6 of Law 152-FZ.
If you are under 14, you may play only with your parents' permission. They give the consent for you.
What we do with the data: collect, record, store, update, use to run the game, and delete.
Where it is stored and who we share it with
The data is stored on a server in Russia. The server is rented from the hosting provider TIMEWEB.CLOUD LLC (TIN 7810945525). The provider keeps the server running and does not use the data itself. We do not pass or sell the data to anyone else. The data is not transferred abroad.
How long we keep it
The account and progress are kept as long as the account exists. Visit statistics, game login records and IP addresses are kept for no more than 12 months, then deleted. If you have not entered the game for 3 years, the account and progress may be deleted. If you ask us to delete your account or withdraw your consent, we will delete it within 10 business days.
How we protect the data
The site and the game work only over the secure HTTPS protocol. Passwords are stored as an encrypted fingerprint. Only the owner has access to the server, and login is by key.
There are no third-party counters such as Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics. There are no ads or third-party scripts either. The statistics dashboard is password protected and only the owner has access to it.
Cookies and what is stored in your browser
The site does not set cookies. The site and the game keep several records in browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). They are needed so the game works, remembers your settings and so we can tell a repeat visit from a new one:

You can erase them in your browser settings: the icon to the left of the site address, then "Site settings" or "More info", then delete the data. Your account and progress on the server will remain, and you can sign in again with your nickname and password.
Your rights
You can:
- find out what data about you is stored and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct the data or delete your account;
- withdraw your consent to processing;
- complain to Roskomnadzor (the Russian data protection authority) or to a court if you think we are violating your rights.
Write to info@tenday.ru and state your nickname in the game. If you need statistics records erased, say which device you used and roughly when you visited. We reply within 10 business days.
If the policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
